Color: Red Drinking Window: 2027 – 2036
The 2018 Rosso Campo Buri is dark and intense, mixing shavings of Baker’s chocolate with cloves, cedar box, balsam herbs and crushed plums. Silken textures envelop the palate, offset by peppery herbs and floral tones as tart wildberry fruits slowly saturate. This wine drenches the palate in primary concentration, long and staining, leaving edgy tannins to resonate as hints of licorice and bitter cherry linger. The Campo Buri is a blend of Carmenere and Oseleta from vines planted in 1990.
2020 Recioto di Soave Arzimo 94
Color: Sweet White Drinking Window: 2025 – 2032
The 2020 Recioto di Soave Arzimo presents a deep orange-amber hue. It is deep, bassy, and rich, with confectionary spices, candied lemon, and vanillin custard forming its opulent yet surprisingly fresh bouquet. Noticeably sweet yet beautifully balanced, it features lifting acidity and crisp mineral tones that offset ultra-ripe apricot and hints of green melon. The 2020 cleans up nicely, minty and lively, exhibiting amazing length. A sour citrus twang keeps the mouth watering for more. This is an incredible value for a world-class dessert wine.
