We are Sisto, Pietro ed Elena Tessari, the fourth generation of winegrowers leading the estate. Our father Lorenzo and our grandfather Attilio Tessari passed on to us their love for nature and their respect for the environment.
Pietro
Oenologist graduated from the Conegliano school.
Elena
Graduated in Economics and Commerce, she is in charge of marketing.
Sisto
Agronomist graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in Padua and represents La Cappuccina abroad.

Since 1890, the Tessari family has been making wine at its La CAPPUCCINA estate at Costalunga di Monteforte d’Alpone, in the Soave d.o.c. wine zone to the east of Verona – the romantic town of Romeo and Juliet – little more than an hour’s drive from Venice.
Over a century of history
The property takes its name from the tastefully restored 17th century chapel, annexed to Villa Buri-Tessari – where Capuchin friars once worshipped – that is the property’s most striking architectural feature and whose silhouette is now the company’s logo. On the ninety-four acres of vineyards the vines grow lush amongst black lavic basalt rocks on one hundred and five acres of vineyards and the fine wines of La CAPPUCCINA slowly mature.
The chapel (1725), stylized in the company logo, is a true jewel of local architecture set among the black volcanic rocks of the Val d’Alpone. Forty-two hectares of vineyards where our vines flourish and our wines patiently mature.
